About the Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is enriched with qualified and experienced faculty members with several years of exposure in Electronics and Communication Engineering and its allied fields. The faculty members are also pursuing research work regularly followed by national and international publications to their credit. The students of this department are highly competent and ever enthusiastic. They have excelled in many national level competitions like NNSC in IIT Delhi, awarded in EAD, zonal Robotics Competition, TechKriti 2015 in IIT Kanpur etc. They are also keenly interested in research work and work regularly with faculty members to have national and international publications to their credit. The department conducts one B. Tech Programme in Electronics & Communication Engineering and two post graduate program M.Tech. in Microelectronics & VLSI and M.tech in Communication Engineering.

To emerge as a department that excels in cutting edge technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, nurture research environment among faculty members and students, impart quality education to inculcate technological mindset, produce students as a future leader in technology domain, and responsible human beings for the society.

• To motivate students for involvement in Research & Development activities resulting participation in various National Level innovative project design competitions, technical debates and also publishing research papers in international and national level conferences and peer reviewed journals.
• To enhance the employability of the students which in turn to obtain a position where our students will be prized by their prospective employers for their contribution in terms of knowledge, skill, and dedication.

Laboratories

The department boasts of sophisticated Electronics and Communication Engineering Laboratories such as Microwave and Antenna, Communication Engineering, Advanced Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Microprocessor, Analog & Digital Electronics Laboratory. All of the laboratories are furnished with up to date state of the art instruments and tools. The department also has software like Matlab, Xilinx, HFSS etc for carrying out advanced level research work. The Department time to time conducts workshops and seminars on emerging technologies to encourage and motivate students.
